Seriously, trying to find a place with a gas stove is just a joke.. If you really enjoy cooking, it's a no brainer. Electric stoves in most rentals are just complete garbage.. Anyone in PDX got a gas stove without paying a jillion dollars for a seventy bedroom luxury villa in the pearl? submitted by carrotfueled [link] [28 comments]
I'm a Flash freelancer with too many projects on my plate for next week. I've got an ad campaign that I've built that has been reused for multiple clients. The next client wants more customization than I have time for. I will pay you. Well. You'd be building a video control bar that controls an FLVPlayback. The client already has a video player, but can't find the source. You'd have to perfectly mimic the aesthetics of their player. Additionally, you'd be changing a vertical scroll pane into a horizontal one, rearranging/replacing artwork to match the client's layout, and creating a few states in ActionScript to transition between with a Tween. If you have professional-quality experience with ActionScript and Flash Pro, along with free time next week, please PM me. Thanks! I'd love to share the wealth with a fellow Portlander. submitted by theillustratedlife [link] [comment]
What's the best (cheapest) moving company in town? submitted by TroubleEntendre [link] [5 comments]
Hi guys, I would really love any recommendations or suggestions for comfortable, quiet, inexpensive cafe's or stores with free wifi. Optimally this would be close to the Lloyd Mall because I'm hoping to find a place to go hang out most weekday mornings, however I do have a car and am willing to commute a bit. The only place I know of is McMenamins on Broadway & 15th (above the Starbuscks on the corner). It's nice but not exactly comfortable, quiet or inexpensive because I feel like I should be buying something every hour if I'm going to hang out there. Any suggestions from you North, or even SouthEaster's? Thanks, guys and gals!! edit: Is there a public library in North East? submitted by codysattva [link] [7 comments]
